I first discovered this fly on a landlocked salmon trip to Maine. As far as salmon streamers go it was tiny, tied on a size 8 3x long hook. It seemed like it would be a natural for panfish. Crappie lose their minds over this fly. It is tied in other colors including gold, white, pink, peach and root beer.
