I had the pleasure of being interviewed on the Orvis Fly Fishing Guide Podcast with Tom Rosenbauer. The podcast went live on Friday, March 9, 2018. If you are a fly fisherman chances are your familiar with this show. If not, then you want to check it out. The Orvis Fly Fishing Guide Podcast has something for everyone whether you are just starting out in the sport or have been at it for decades. The show usually starts out with questions from listeners on all types of fly fishing topics from beginners tips to advanced techniques. From there it moves on to an interview with folks from the industry, fly fishing guides and other fly fishing experts.
This episode was a lot of fun, and Tom was an excellent host and interviewer. We spoke in depth about fly fishing for panfish. I know I am not alone in my love of flyfishing for these feisty little fish and it was apparent that Tom enjoys casting a fly for them as well, despite the fact that he has fished all over the world!
Tom Rosenbauer is an accomplished author with ten books under his belt, a few of which grace the shelves of my bookcase. His vast knowledge of the sport of fly fishing became apparent very quickly while speaking with him. Tom is currently the Marketing Director for Orvis Rod and Tackle and has been with the company for over thirty years. His Orvis Fly Fishing Guide Podcast is one of my favorites and I rarely miss an episode. I recommend giving it a listen!
