September 27, 2019 Panfish On The Fly

This variation of Jack Gartside’s Gurgler is a simple to tie topwater favorite of mine.

Jack Gartside’s Gurgler may very well be one of the most famous topwater patterns ever developed. There was also some traveling to fish far off places that kept me away from home! Things have returned to normal and we will once again be moving forward. Blog posts will resume, the shop has reopened, and I am once again taking fly orders.

Jack Harford’s Green Tail Caddis

This weeks submission comes from Jack Harford. Jack is a past contributor to this blog and his Green Tail Caddis has been one of the more productive wet flies I have fished this year for both warm and cold water species.
